Workshop · 1 day · from €3,500

Garbage in.
AI out.

Before you invest in AI: understand what your data can do today — and what it cannot. In one day.

Plux the robot searching through a box of data

The starting point

Why this workshop?

Three observations from hundreds of data and AI projects in mid-sized companies.

AI does not need better AI.
AI needs better data.

Most failed AI pilots do not fail because of the model — they fail on data that was never designed for machine processing.

If you do not know your data,
you do not know your risks.

PPWR, Digital Product Passport, supply chain laws: regulatory obligations hit companies that do not have a clear view of their own data flows.

Excel is not
a data strategy.

90% of mid-sized companies maintain critical product and material data in spreadsheets that nobody but the owner can interpret.

How sovereign are you with your data?

Answer 10 yes/no questions. At the end you see your maturity level and a concrete entry recommendation — without giving up your email.

Workshop agenda

What happens during this day?

Five blocks, one outcome per block. On-site, with a cross-functional team.

  1. 01

    Data inventory

Who owns what today? Which systems, which Excel silos, which heads?

  2. 02

    Data DNA mapping

On an XL canvas: product · material · production · commercial. Gaps become visible.

  3. 03

    Pain-point prioritization

Top 5 pains — scored by effort × impact.

  4. 04

    Roadmap sketch

    Quick wins (3 months), mid-term (6–12), long-term (12–24).

  5. 05

    Wrap-up & data manifesto

One page you can take into the board meeting.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Who is this workshop for?

Mid-sized companies of around 50 employees and up who suspect their data landscape has gaps but do not know where to start. Industry-agnostic, ideally with a physical product.

Do we need preparation material?

A rough overview of your systems and an initial stakeholder picture. We send a one-page checklist before the workshop — that is enough.

Who should attend from our team?

Cross-functional is essential: IT, product management, sales, quality, optionally compliance. 4 to 8 people, otherwise the discussion becomes too narrow or too scattered.

What happens after the workshop?

You receive the report within 2 weeks. Then a 30-minute follow-up call with leadership. What you do with the result is up to you — we will not push.

Is our data safe?

We sign an NDA, all workshop materials stay with you, and the report is delivered encrypted. No data leaves your premises.

Does the workshop make sense without Pimcore?

Yes. The audit is tool-neutral. Which platform (Pimcore, Akeneo, in-house system) fits best emerges from the findings — not before.

Can we run the workshop remotely?

Possible, but not recommended. The canvas and sticky-note work loses too much momentum remotely — and the playful element is what surfaces the gaps.

What does the follow-on consulting cost?

A typical MDM/PXM concept project runs at 15–25 person-days. Implementation afterward in fixed-price phases. Concrete numbers come once we know your findings.
